Good day, wonderful Transmitees. Seven this week, and one of them was recorded in 1992. Blake Baxter cut 'One More Time' at Love Park Studio in Berlin, it sat there until 2002 before Tresor released it, and it has only now made the jump to digital.
Elsewhere, Perc and Barbosa have made a record together for Perc Trax, Fleck E.S.C. has an album on Pyramid Transmissions with the vinyl held to 150 copies, and Toolboxxx give a track each to four producers. Three more underneath.

Title: 'TBX013'
Label: Toolboxxx
Toolboxxx describes itself as a DJ and producer community rather than a label, based in Cologne and working across North Rhine Westphalia and further out. It has been releasing since at least 2023, and the compilations are where most of that community turns up.
This one is catalogue number TBX013 and it went out on 21 August. Four producers take a track each: H4, Noëtik, Jiho and Nilya. All four are techno.

Title: 'Closer'
Label: ALTERNATIVA
Dan be is Spanish and has been working out of the UK for years. When Happiness Therapy put out his 'Makes Me Happy' EP in September 2022, his first proper solo outing for them after a couple of compilation appearances the year before, the label had him living in Glasgow. His own page says London now. He also heads up Y4 Collective.
The catalogue behind him is wider than the UKG tag suggests. That 2022 EP closed on a collaboration with the Portuguese producer Bernardo Mota, and he has since worked with Alex Bone on 'Ooh', plus Kosmo Kint on 'Desire Path'.
'Closer' is UKG, it came out on 7 August 2026, and it is catalogue number ATTV03 for ALTERNATIVA. Lovely little old-school garage bumper.
Artist: styn
Title: 'wormhole / tikibad'
Label: nachtwinkel
styn is a producer and DJ out of Amsterdam who started as a teenager making beats in the J Dilla mould. Nachtwinkel was his club night first, running from 2023, and it has since become a label as well. His debut album 'BLUPRNT' was the first record it properly put out, back in February.
This one is two tracks and it went out on 9 July. Here is styn on the first of them: "I see the wormhole track as a wormhole into the styles I developed after the BLUPRNT album, where every track functioned as a representation of a certain style of my music."
The other is called 'tikibad' and, somewhat anecdotally, nachtwinkel say it is named after a swimming pool. The Tikibad is the water park at Duinrell in Wassenaar, and at 21 slides it is the largest in the Benelux. Who’d have thought…
Anyway, waterslides aside, we have two superb high NRG techno tracks for your playlist. Grab ‘em.
Artist: Perc & Barbosa
Title: 'One'
Label: Perc Trax
Perc is Ali Wells, and Perc Trax has been his techno label since 2004. Twenty two years on, it still carries his own records alongside everybody else's, with our most recent coverage from the label being our Shaun Moses ‘Nostalgia’ review and single of the week.
Barbosa is the Afghan-Canadian producer behind Heist Mode, the techno label he runs out of Toronto. The part of his working life that never shows up in a discography is the booking side of it. He set up Genova Agency with Decoder and Garrett Finn, who records as Rhyot, and it was Genova that developed Richie Hawtin's From Our Minds run of North American warehouse shows in 2023. Barbosa played on it as well.
'One' came out on 28 August 2026 and runs to two tracks. The release takes its name from the opener, and the track that follows is called 'Two'. Wells and Barbosa wrote and produced both of them together.
As you might expect, this is raw, loopy, propulsive techno from the pair.
Artist: Fleck E.S.C.
Title: 'Interior Reset'

Franck Collin has been putting out electro as Fleck E.S.C. since the middle of the last decade. The initials stand for French Electro Space Cookie, which covers both the nationality and how seriously he wants you to take the name. He left France for Tokyo a good while ago and still works from there.
His records have gone out through most of the labels built for this music, among them Sheffield's Central Processing Unit, which released his 'Discrete Opinion' EP in 2018 and 'Rough Silk' in 2022, plus Mechatronica, Electrix, Science Cult and Diffuse Reality.
Pyramid Transmissions is the UK electro label run by Andy Jaggers, who records as ADJ, together with Pathic. It has been going since 2007 and sticks to the format this release uses: short vinyl runs with the digital alongside, and a cast over the years that has taken in Velocs, Datacrashrobot, Hatch and Phat Chex. 'Interior Reset' is catalogue number PTV021.
The album landed on 17 August 2026. The vinyl is a single 12 inch pressing held to 150 copies and carrying six tracks, while the digital runs to nine. The title track turns up in both formats in two different forms, a trimmed vinyl edit and a longer full version.

Title: 'One More Time'

Blake Baxter was in the room when Detroit techno started, one of the first wave of producers and DJs the city sent out in the 1980s, even if his name gets said less often than the Belleville Three.
His first single, 'When We Used to Play', came out on Kevin Saunderson's KMS label in 1987, and he was among the Detroit artists on the 1988 compilation 'Techno! The New Dance Sound of Detroit', the record that carried the word techno across to Europe. More followed on Incognito and Underground Resistance, including his 'The Prince of Techno' EP, which borrowed the nickname his peers had already hung on him.
That Detroit start turned into a Berlin one fairly quickly. Baxter built a long relationship with Tresor, the club and the label both, playing there as a resident and putting out records through the 1990s, the Dream Sequence albums among them.
'One More Time' comes from that stretch. Tresor dates the recording to a 1992 session at Love Park Studio in Berlin, though the tracks were not released until 2002, when the label issued them as the sixth entry in its Archiv series.
The B-side is where the other names come in. Both mixes there, the 'Red Planet Remix' and the 'Acid Mix', were reworked by Moritz von Oswald and Thomas Fehlmann, who added production of their own. By then the two had been recording together for Tresor as 3MB, a project whose releases included an album with Juan Atkins. Von Oswald was the label's in-house producer and one half of Basic Channel. Fehlmann came up in the post-punk group Palais Schaumburg and later joined The Orb. Their versions put two of Berlin's central studio figures on a Detroit record.
This digital reissue is part of Tresor's ongoing move back through Baxter's catalogue for the label. The label says 'One More Time' and a companion release, 'Deep N Da Groove (RMX)', are the two that close the campaign out. It is out now. Buy it over on Bandcamp.
Artist: Menson
Title: 'Testify'
Label: Studiestrasse
'Testify' is out now on Studiestrasse, released on 14 August as an Original and an Extended mix. Menson has been steadily putting music up on his own Bandcamp page before this one, among it 'TS', 'True' and 'Don't U Know'.
The idea behind the track came out of his own listening habits. "I've noticed I'm always drawn to music built around repetition, gospel, chanting, anything where a voice repeats the same thought until it becomes something bigger than the words themselves," Menson says. "At some point, you're not listening to the lyric anymore. You're just feeling it."
Kind of like meditation, then, in that case. Fitting, when we consider music as a series of vibrations.
Studiestrasse is a Copenhagen label running since early 2010, founded by Mads Jensen, who is Menson, and who also (somewhat confusingly, in this context) produces under the name Jazz Menson. It operates as a small collective, with Hankat and Jonas Hahn also on the roster.
