Tones is Antonio Martinez. The credits on his 'Synergetic Systems' name him in full, and the press notes have him founding the Sonic Transmission label and event series, which he runs in San Antonio.

Sonic Transmission started putting records out at the end of 2025 and has held close to a monthly rate since, through 'Perpetual Drift', 'Chale', 'Infamous Groove', 'Blunt Physics' and 'Get Tha Money', plus a compilation called 'Heat Index Vol.1'.

PHAASER is the label taking this one, an electronic imprint out of Nashville whose line is "Let's find your pulse." Its catalogue runs in two numbered strands, one for EPs and one for various-artists sets, and the title of this record is simply its place in EP list.

Not all of them go out bare, mind. Redline's 'Contingency Plan' carries a name of its own, and Redline is a founding member of PHAASER as well as the man behind Full Auto Acid, another Nashville label.

Four tracks from Tones, then a remix to finish from DJ Hockey, who co-runs the Vancouver label PPRZ with Adam 2 and keeps his own records on Bandcamp, among them 'Push:Pull', 'Twisted Paradigm' and '3808km'. The label files the lot under techno.

Vancouver has turned up here before, by way of VANTEK and Secret Raver's 'Cybermen'.

Out now. PHAASER are the ones to buy it from.
