Deniro and Ø [Phase] have been back into 14 Of The 19 Worlds, and the techno remix package that came out of it landed on Symbolism in July, vinyl on the 13th and digital on the 17th. Mike Storm, real name Michael De Winde, released the original album in 2022. It was his tenth.

Storm works from a hardware studio in the Netherlands and has spent a good stretch of the past decade in Jeff Mills’ orbit. There is a run of albums on Axis behind him, and during the pandemic Mills asked him to contribute to the Escape Velocity project, which eventually ran to seven albums. Oscar Mulero’s Warm Up has had him too.

This package hands Exo 1606 to Ø [Phase], who runs the Modwerks label, and gives Deniro two separate passes at One Colour. Storm’s own Blocks is in there as well, on vinyl for the first time. Symbolism has billed this as the first of two LP remix packages, so there is another on the way.
