Electric Rescue has form with us. In 2017 the first incarnation of Waveform Transmitter put out a charity compilation, 'House for the Homeless', and he wrote 'Antom' for it.
He has been putting records out since 1990, and running labels for most of that. His own Skryptöm has released Traumer, Maxime Dangles and Kmyle. He is artistic director at two Paris clubs, Glazart and Kilomètre25 (we’ve been there!). He has held a residency at the Rex Club for about twenty years, and calls it "the French techno temple".
'Colors Community' comes off 'Different Horizons', his eighth album, with Abd Al Malik, Gaspar Claus, Amélie Nilles and Boscaro guesting across it. The album is on COD3 QR, the label Laurent Garnier runs with Oliver Way, and he has been in the ‘First Contact’ slot before: his 'Stellar Ship' premiered here off a COD3 QR compilation in 2026. He plays an ADE showcase in Amsterdam on 22 October 2026, and the album lands the day after.
With ‘Colors Community’, Electric Rescue serves up a cinematic electro composition that is unusually rousing and—dare we say—euphoric in part, given the often dystopian bent this genre tends to adopt. Superb stuff, as you will hear for yourself.
Pre-order is already open over at Bandcamp, and the full album drops on 23 October 2026.
