Yablochko Zelenoe is Russian, and that is close to all the artist gives away. There is no bio, no stated city and no interviews anywhere (that we could find), so the trail has to be read from his releases, and it leads to Moscow.

Most of the guests on the album are Moscow names. And the title reads like a bend of Mosgortrans, the city's bus and tram operator. His first track 'Metropolis' came out through Resonance Moscow, a Russian label that doubles as a shop, a party and a radio show.

Zelenoe’s catalogue so far is spread across three other countries. Dionysian Mysteries in San Francisco has taken most of it, starting with the 'Stickers, Cans & Cigarettes' EP in August 2024 and then 'FUNKTHEPOPULATION' the year after. Everyone On Acid, the Amsterdam label Kegffnayy has run since 2018, took 'Stupid Acid', a collaboration with Julia Konor, for 'Everyone On Acid: Volume 9'.

Dionysian Mysteries bills itself as a "Bipolar Record Label Hustling Frequencies & Undying Echos", which tells you less than the roster does. DRUUM, Hapro, Mesmerist, STUDMIRE, Lai Raw, Jéeby and the Dawn Razor and Confluence pairing all have records there.

'MOSGORTRAX' goes further than anything before it. It is the debut album under the name, fourteen tracks that the label files under speed garage and hardgroove (which is probably what made us pay attention in the first place).

Three years of work went into this album. Bereza, Pora, Diuragga, Trust True and Alfa Cornae all appear, too.
