Paraíso covers a lot of ground for one name: a Lisbon record label, a club night, a show on Rádio Quântica and, since 2025, a feature film. The film grew out of that radio show, where Maria Guedes, who DJs as Maria Amor, and João Ervedosa, better known as Shcuro, interviewed the people who built Portugal's nineties rave scene. 'Paraíso' runs to 78 minutes, with Daniel Mota directing, and premiered at IndieLisboa in May 2025.

'Repercussions Part 2' is PARAISO019, the label's 19th release, and it reunites Shcuro with Vil, a Lisbon DJ and longtime friend of the label who plays across dubstep and techno. Together they made 'Repercussions Part 1' for Paraíso in 2024, which carried a remix from Blasha & Allatt, the duo behind the queer techno parties Meat Free. Away from his own label, Shcuro has also released the 'Signs Of Unsettlement' EP on Klakson.

The remix this time comes from Annie Hall, the Spanish producer with records on Delsin and CPU, who also sits in the MUSAR catalogue we looked at with Koloah's 'You Can Get Me'. As for the name, it borrows from a phrase the defunct Muzik magazine once used for the country's parties: "A Paradise Called Portugal".
