Artist: Raz & Kalbata featuring MC Clapper Priest
Title: 'Nobody Else'
Label: RNK

Raz & Kalbata gave themselves a schedule when they started this project, and they put it in writing: one single a month, for at least a year. 'Nobody Else' is the seventh of them.

The project itself came out of months of studio sessions in London, and RNK is their own imprint, built to carry the run. Their note on it names garage, techno, dub and dancehall as the ground they are covering.

This one hands the vocal to reggae MC Clapper Priest, with an instrumental on the flip for anyone who wants the room.

The best releases in UKG, Bass, Breaks, Dub & 140. Every Friday. No filler.

Working with Jamaican voices is long standing ground for Kalbata rather than a new turn. 'Congo Beat The Drum', made with Mixmonster for Freestyle Records in 2014, was built in a home studio with singers and deejays including Major Mackerel and Echo Minott on it.

It comes as a twelve inch as well as a download, so the record shops have it.

Out now, straight from Raz & Kalbata on Bandcamp, with the other six sitting alongside it.
