Waveform Sessions #27 card: a photograph of Mootney sliced into vertical strips over a blue gradient. He is bearded, in a dark beanie and jacket, head bowed, with blurred street lights and signage behind him. The Waveform Transmitter equaliser logo sits top left, with WAVEFORM SESSIONS #27 and MOOTNEY in white capitals underneath.

Mootney co-founded Flower Broadcast System, a crew in Kyiv that throws parties and puts out records. He comes from the outskirts of the city and he is based in Germany now.

His own records have gone out through Mystictrax, Progressive Future and OO Recordings, and we covered 'What Happened To The Music', his second record for Mystictrax, in October 2026.

Four of his own productions are in this mix. One of them is not released anywhere. The whole thing runs to thirty six tracks, and Skee Mask, Tin Man, Shed and Luke Slater are among them. He recorded it on Pioneer CDJ-1000s and a Stanton STR8.150 turntable. Full list below.
