Halfpipe Records works less like a traditional label and more like a French electronic music and art collective with a discography attached; a shared roster tied together by events, artwork, and a common identity.
Me & George and Unsho both sit at its core, and they have shared tracklists on Halfpipe compilations before, from Late 20s to Low Lights Paris Nord. Zonda is the two of them pulling in the same direction on a single track rather than simply appearing on the same record; they’ve done that before, too, with Badman.
The track is pure flame from the outset. A heavily distorted UKG bassline underpins a club ready warper that is more than primed to obliterate the dance no matter where you play it or what time it is.
Out now. Grab it on Bandcamp. Fierce stuff.
