Producer Richard Smith has been releasing music under the L/F/D/M alias since 2013; a project whose name (Loves Flaccid Disco Muscle, since you asked, although there is conjecture as to whether that ‘Loves’ is apostrophised) is as irreverent as the music itself.

Over the past decade he has built one of the underground's most eclectic catalogues, releasing across Optimo Trax, Clan Destine, Cititrax, Dead Channel, Ecstatic, Tripalium Corp, and Body Musick among others, while also operating as one half of electronic brutalists Bronze Teeth alongside Factory Floor's Dominic Butler. His work won’t fit in one pigeonhole; acid techno, EBM, industrial, noise, and disco all fall within his orbit, often within the same release.

Stalk Eyed Flies is the premiere track from his forthcoming Jelly Splinters EP on Posh End Music; the imprint run by Glasgow-based producer and DJ Scott McKay, better known as Fear-E, whose label has previously hosted collaborations with Liverpool's John Heckle under his Head Front Panel alias.

The track is a blistering excursion through dark house territory, loaded with tribalistic kicks, static scythes, and of course plenty of the little silver box for good measure. Jelly Splinters drops June 26th 2026.
