Cover art for Kelbin’s ‘Today’ on KUMO Collective: ribbons of iridescent chrome in violet, white and dark green curling against a turquoise sky scattered with white cloud.

Kelbin was posting tracks built out of modular emulation when RamonPang of The Tabula Rasa Record Company found them on Twitter and signed him. The ‘.ARP’ EP went out on the label in 2020, and the records since have landed on Renraku, Moveltraxx, Platypus Trax and Peder Mannerfelt Produktion. He works out of Venice, makes house and techno as DJ Floor, and ambient as Health State Theory with alyx.

Six years on from that, Dan Snaith came calling. Kelbin remixed ‘Sad Piano House’ by Daphni and ‘Cloudy’ by Caribou, and both went out on Jiaolong in September 2026. He is on the expanded edition of Caribou’s ‘Butterfly’ too.

‘Today’ is his second for KUMO Collective, after ‘So’. They work out of Amsterdam and have been going since 2017.

The best releases in UKG, Bass, Breaks, Dub & 140. Every Friday. No filler.

The single represents an excursion into ethereal, euphoric, house music; a track with genuine energy primed for the club, one that will absolutely guarantee a breakout of bliss among your dancers. More than a cheeky little nod towards a UKG flex here too from Kelbin thanks to those top end percs, presented alongside some lovely acid synth-ing.

An EP follows, and, frankly, we can’t wait to hear it based on the quality of ‘So’ and ‘Today’.

Beatport has it. So does Bandcamp. Pick one.
