Cover art for JØHRN's 'Miles Of Silence Between Us' on Subsist: a collage of Mount Rushmore in warm yellow and orange under a blue sky, an engraved illustration of a chameleon perched on the rock to the left, two military helicopters flying in from the right, and the subsist logo in white at the bottom corner.

Subsist has more than 360 digital releases behind it, and runs Faith Disciplines alongside for its more experimental end. JØHRN's 'Miles Of Silence Between Us' is the label's new album, and 'Disrupted Code' is one of thirteen tracks on it. The album is out on October 16th, 2026.

His records have gone out on Illegal Alien, Faut Section and Soma Records. Subsist itself works out of Grau de Castelló on the Spanish coast, and we gave the Not Charlie album from the label a review in September 2026.

'Disrupted Code' is a fine example of why we are fast growing to love the output from the Subsist stable. The track is sci-fi through-and-through, the subtle layering and oscillating acid line that gives the track an almost organic feel, as though the code became so disrupted it converted to a genetic code and became sentient.

Pre-order is up at Subsist. Go on.
