Jakob Mäder is a Stuttgart DJ and producer who plays live as well, and in 2021 he started his own label, Constant Change. He puts the whole thing down to watching Berlin Calling around 2010 and wanting to know more about the music in it.

‘Arrived’ follows eleven releases on Beatport already in 2026. Before that there were records on Zissou Records, Midnight Operators, TOYS Berlin and Frank Music, a spot on Global Underground’s Select series, and a 2023 single for theBasement Discos, the Valencia label behind Loddj and Davide Messina’s ‘KIDS & GROOVE’.

‘Arrived’ is JFTRAXX29 on Jackfruit, and it puts him on the same label as Tigerskin, who had ‘Getaway’ out there in January 2026 and whose album ‘Image’ we review separately.

As you might expect, we’ve got nothing short of sheer excellence here from the Jackfruit stable, veritable house heaters being the order of the day. Absolutely loving that bassline alongside the arpeggiating synth and 90s house stabs in ‘Arrived’.

'‘Work Out’ is where it’s at for us though. This is a live track and that acid bassline is fucking divine. Smother me in 303! Perfect material for picking up a waning dancefloor.
