Our… erm… second First Contact exclusive premiere comes courtesy of Moscow-based sound engineer Ilya Chunakov. Operating under his Gliesse alias, he steps into the spotlight to deliver an expertly crafted slice of sci-fi modular electro.

Lifted from his forthcoming Lost Data LP on the awesome EC Underground label, we are premiering the original mix of CEERS; an exhilarating, deeply atmospheric electro production that fully embraces a dark, interstellar aesthetic.

Driven by uptempo, surgical electro breaks, the track unfurls across seven minutes, evoking the distinct sensation of a high-speed journey through a distant, red-shift galaxy.

The production is incredibly tight and meticulously engineered; complex synths chirp and sequence like the control panel of a futuristic craft, casting a dark, cinematic shadow over a menacing low-end.

Rather than just being a heady headphone trip, the track possesses a raw, cybernetic energy. it is the exact kind of driving electro that forces a dancefloor into wild convulsions.
