Italy’s ProOne79 and MAGNVM! deliver a trifecta of jacking cuts on the aptly titled Black Jack EP. This three-tracker has just landed on Berlin’s Rekids and is more than ready to add some Chi-town-style flex to the dancefloor.

Nobody Else leads the pack with the kind of heavy-hitting house the Rekids imprint has become synonymous with. A pulsing, oscillating bassline drives a swinging, loopy drum pattern. The moment those claps land, the energy is undeniable.

The 808-style toms set a frantic tone for the outrageous Feel Free. Expect instant whiplash the second that car-alarm synth stab hits, followed by a bassline that only gets grittier as the track develops. It is a peak-time essential and easily the track we are most excited to drop into a set.

The restless Back rounds out the trio, shifting gears from the high-octane energy of the preceding two heaters. Dark and moody, an undulating bassline scowls from the low end while a hypnotic vocal motif plays throughout.

A snarling, electro-style synth rips through the mix to lead into a second slow-burn build-up. It is a high-pressure production, perfectly suited for the darker, more intense moments in the club.
