Andrei Morant started DJing in 1986. His first booking came in 1990, and production followed three years after that. His own Beatport biography places him in the Houston underground from the early nineties, with more than fifty releases behind him.

The label history is long with it. Planet Rhythm Records, Starkstrom Schallplatten and Gynoid Audio are the three his bio leads with, and Discogs adds Blueline Music, Capital Techno Recordings, Illegal Alien Records, Dystopian Rhythm and Genau! on top of those. He founded Scope Recordings himself, and he records as Jack Mackrel as well.

Five tracks here, and they have gone to Chicago Jaxxx, the techno label Josh Moseley runs out of Chicago. That one passed its two hundredth record earlier this year, so it is not short of catalogue either.

The two of them have history. Morant remixed 'Vilify' for the label back in 2013, and did another for Frankie Vega's 'The Sector' more recently, so this is a working relationship rather than a one off.
